Tacho 2 Terms & Conditions
DEFINITIONS
“Acceptance” means acceptance of Goods by you or your agent at the delivery address following inspection or signed acceptance by you or your agent.
“Delivery Address” this means the address that has been stated in the order to deliver the goods to.
“Goods” means any goods on the order
“Order” means the purchase order from you or a quote from us on your instructions to supply goods after the date of receipt of these Terms and Conditions.
“Price” means the price stated on the order
“Specification” means descriptions, quantities, plans data or any other information relating to the goods set out in the order
“We / us / our” refers to Tayrol Ltd, a company registered in the UK – company registration number 2298754 of Unit Y12, Elvington Industrial Estate, Elvington, York, YO41 4AR together with any of our associate companies and subsidiaries. This includes our brand TACHO2.
“You / Your” this refers to anyone who orders goods from us.
BASIS
Please ensure that you read our Terms & Conditions before you purchase any of our products. If you place an order online with Tayrol / TACHO2 you are agreeing to our Terms and conditions of sale.
All prices quoted on our website are in Pounds Sterling. Prices are reviewed and amended on a regular basis and prices may change between your enquiry and placing an order with us. Orders placed with us via other means such as telephone, fax, email may be more expensive or cheaper. All prices are subject to VAT at the current prevailing rate.
RETURNS
Any goods delivered to you as a result of an error by us will be collected by our nominated courier and replaced by us at our expense.
Items incorrectly ordered by you must be returned at your own expense, or alternatively we can arrange collection by our nominated courier, but this will be charged at a per parcel rate – confirmation of price will be given upon notification of number of parcels, parcel weight, location etc.
Items returned must be in a resalable condition, this includes the outer packaging.
Items that are returned in a non-resalable condition may be subject to further charges depending on the severity of the damage.
DELIVERY
Most items for sale are available from stock. We aim for all orders which reach us before 2pm to be despatched same day. All goods are sent out on a next day delivery service, our courier works Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries can be arranged but there will be an extra charge for this service and it must be requested over the phone or email as the website is unable to process Saturday morning deliveries. Some remote areas may take a few days to arrive. Off-shore deliveries and special timed deliveries are available but will incur an extra cost, again this should be specially requested with one of our sales team via telephone or email.
If the goods you have ordered are out of stock we will contact you with an estimated time of despatch and delivery
Please ensure your contact and delivery address are correct at the time of ordering together with any restrictions on delivery timings (closing hours, entrance to premises etc). It is your responsibility to ensure there is an authorised person at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods. If nobody is available, the courier will leave a card and their contact details for you to contact them and arrange re-delivery or collection in person from their depot. If no suitable arrangements are made the courier will return the goods to us and you will be charged for delivery both ways. If you no longer require the goods, we will refund the value of the order minus the two delivery charges.
VOUCHERS
From time to time we may issue vouchers/ special offers which are redeemable by way of discount from web orders and will not be valid for orders made by any other means. We will also from time to time have special offers through our social media sites, again these may conflict with web offers. Vouchers and discount codes will be redeemable against one single order to one address only. Any multiple delivery locations will require its’ own separate order and voucher.
DATA PROTECTION
We keep a full customer database for the sole purpose of maintaining records of your sales history and transactions. We will not pass your details onto any third party for marketing purposes or any other purpose.
USE OF OUR WEBSITE
You are welcome to use our website for your personal, non commercial use. The website, including all its contents, pictures and logos are the property of Tayrol Ltd and any unauthorised use or duplication of any aspect will be considered to be a breach of UK laws and appropriate action will be taken.
